Studying a Forigen Language

It’s one thing to study for a sci­ence, math, or his­tory class.  They all use a lot of the same prin­ci­ples in study­ing.  How­ever if you never were one to study for a lan­guage class (even your own native lan­guage), doing so when your older is a pain!

In my case I’m one that learns from visual or audi­tory inter­ac­tions.  How­ever you can only do that with a lan­guage when your using it every day, not with your nose in a book.  Flash-cards don’t help, I end up just mem­o­riz­ing the patterns/colors you might have employed when you made them.  Writ­ing things down works a bit, but not as much as one would like; not to men­tion incred­i­bly time con­sum­ing for an asian lan­guage…  No mat­ter what I need music going–normally some­thing elec­tric in nature–to keep my mind from wandering!

This is all alright, and really isn’t that much of a prob­lem until “The Test”, the one test that is the final one, of a class that has no tests.  So for the last week I’ve been wor­ried sick, study­ing like a mad­man, try­ing to under­stand the odd­i­ties of
